Ibrahim placed a paper windmill on the table and waited for it to turn. He opened the window a little, but the air did not reach it. Faisal suggested another spot, so Ibrahim carefully carried the model by its cardboard base.
By the window, the blades turned once and stopped. Ibrahim noticed that one blade was touching the base. He asked his mother to help adjust the gap and wrote down what they changed before trying again.
This time the windmill moved slowly. It was not the fastest model Ibrahim had imagined, but he now understood why it had been stopping. He placed a note describing both attempts beside it and invited Faisal to add the question that had started their work.
